1. Choose a size for the die and cut identical size
pieces from items A-B-C-D, or if you are using the kit,
your design will have to fit within an area approximately
2" x 2-1/2".
2. Paint one side of the CRS
with layout fluid . I recommend that you paint it red.
Layout fluid is available from the machine shop supply
house from which you purchased the tool and die steel.
It is in brush top cans and in blue and red. Get the
smallest can size available as it lasts forever, and
get both colors.
3. Paint one side of the FGTDS
with layout fluid. I recommend blue
for this one.
4. Remove the paper from one side of the acrylic.
I recommend removing the printed side.
5. Assemble the stack.
Stack Arrangement
Align the edges & clamp together.
You can temporarily put the stack in a vise and tape
the edges together. Masking tape works fine for this.
The purpose is to prevent the stack from shifting during
the next operation.
