INTERIOR CUTTING DIES
Assemble Plates back | next
Remove all remnants of the layout fluid from the bottom plate and the punch piece. Loosely assemble the two plates together with the two 10-32 screws and one set of nuts. Apply a small amount of Loc-tite® to the 4-40 screw threads as well as to the back of the punch piece. Place the loose punch piece in the die, and insert the screws through the bottom plate. Tighten securely. (Loc-tite® is a type of glue that acts like a lock washer to prevent the screw from coming out.)
