Clamp the two plates together using Vise-Grip®
Pliers in the areas shown. The reason for specifying
Vise-Grips is that they clamp without causing any shifting
of the plates. 'C' clamps will sometimes cause a slight
shifting as they tighten. Make sure that the plates
are aligned with each other!
