Off the top of my head, did you try McMaster Carr?
Failing that, you can get zinc roof strips that are used to control moss at the hardware store. Not sure how pure they are, but they seem to be a roll of about 1/16" thick zinc strip about 2-3" wide.

no, I haven't even looked through my stack of old postits , which serves as my resource file cabinet , because I'm a little bit completely overwhelmed with moving . I think I packed the friggin McMaster Carr catalog though, which is about 6 years out of date anyway ....

kinda slow around here lately .

meanwhile back at the hacienda:

zinc $3.85/ lb, no minimum , cut into pieces.

silicon bronze about $16 / lb.
