What was the nature of the damage to the o-rings that you "lost along the way"?  and why did that not damage the silver?

How thin a wire did you insert?  I don't quite follow that part......

It'll be interesting to see if the oil is needed with the tefon/viton rings.  I'll let you know.

How carefully did you control your first draw with the MDS?  did you use the torque wrench, or just hand tight?  Just the 3" disc, or did you put "spacers" between the bolts?
