Re^6: What about UHMW for guide rings?

Ok, I'm convinced about the UHMW, after reading up a bit on it. It turned out to be difficult to find a source of 1/16" UHMW in quantities under $100, but I finally tried McMaster-Carr, and have ordered from them. I will report back later in the week, after I receive it.
