Re^2: Precious Metal inlay on a Titanium band using a press

Since I think Phil may be out of town, I will just offer that, while I don't KNOW how it's done, a couple of factors that might help would be :
1-if the inlay metal is harder than the titanium, so that it pushes into the titanium rather than smushing onto the surface, and
2-that if both metals have some textured "tooth", you could maybe get sort of a velcro-like bond.
