Cindy, I tried to answer earlier, but the power went out in the neighborhood for 8 hours. (tree on lines.)  Then the computer froze, and I assume my message was "lost."  (Am also being attacked by Klez virus.)

Anyway... Difference between Jett Sett and Delrin may be in the edges.  I roll the stuff into an elongated earthworm shape, wrap it around the punch, pinch ends together, then quickly roll it semi-flat on the counter while it's still warm.  If there are egregious irregularities, I either saw/file them off or return the lump to hot water and try again.  I eyeball the thickness and ignore the height.  It doesn't seem to matter. They are straight.  No calipers.

I cut a quarter inch chunk out of the lower ring, leave the top one solid.  They ooze out of the pressing action rather nicely.  Y

Yes, everything is lubricated with Manteca lard
