Re^3: Soldering Microfolded Beads

Hi Cindy. I guess I made up a name?? You are right - it is a melon bead but somebody carelessly walked through the pumpkin patch and squashed it!! (How appropriate for today!!) Iknow. I know. A pumpkin isn't a melon. Attached is a quick snip & clip of parts of two images I made for workshops. The top part is a top view of three beads which were all made of starting sheet with identical dimensions. The top left one and top right one were microfolded in different sets of rollers of the "wrinklini Italiano", the "Ondulatore" made in Italy. This causes the end hole to be a different size even though they were compressed the same amount (bigger folds allow a greater confirmation and a smaller hole). The bottom "saucer bead" was identical (same set of rollers) to the top left one but compressed to the extreme (flat) and notice that the hole is the same as the top left one (same rollers). The bottom half of the image is a side view of the same to better show the degree of vertical compression. What I don't do for entertainment!!! ....Jack
