Yes, all did go basically well. The little muffin had difficulty standing, because he's quite a solid little bugger, and because the tendons in his front legs are a bit too flexible. Partly because of that, and partly because Branwen was dripping a bit of milk for much of the day prior to the birth, he didn't get enough colostrum (very first batch of mother's milk, which contains basically a starter immune system for the baby), and so doesn't have the proper antibodies. But both the immune system and the flexible tendons are eminently fixable, and we are working on fixing them; within a week or two, all should be well.

In the meantime, as you can see, he's not exactly suffering...
