Precious Metal inlay on a Titanium band using a press

Hello,
   I'm new to this group, but was sent here with the understanding that this was the place to get answers. :) -- So, here it goes.
   I have heard of a couple of companies using a hydraulic press to do precious metal inlays into hard metal rings such as titanium.  The question is, does anyone know how they are doing it, or more importantly, have any idea how to accomplish this with a press.
