>I am starting to work with my Industrial Tube Wringer, and am having difficulty finding metal in anything less than 30 gauge in precious metals -34 is good for what I'm doing now. So far, I've found 34 gauge at Rio. Of course, like everything else at Rio these days, its on back order - but at least there's hope.
>I have been trying to find fine silver, 14, 18 & possibly 22 KT gold, but every manufacturer that I have contacted says no, except DH Fell, who is looking into it and, if they can do it, will charge me something on the order of $25 extra for each item (above the usual metal and forming fees). I've tried Hoover & Strong, Hauser & Miller, Precious Metals West & Rio - I think that's the list.
>I suppose I could roll stock, but I like their crisp edges defined gagues....

Sorry for the delay re: gold supplier
Stern-Leach, Attleboro, MA 508-222-7400
They have 100 Dwt Minimum for .005 or .006 x 3" coil
I don't want to inventory that amount right now with gold above $300.00 but am interested in ordering and would actually put together an order for those interested.
Gold was at $304.20 when this was quoted to me:
14k is available: all below around $11.30 per dwt
#79 yellow,
#4 Yellow Nickle Free
#511 Yellow heat treatable
18k is available: all below around $14.00 per dwt
#3 Yellow
#6 Yellow Heat Treatable
