Sheltech Enters The Industrial Age

Nothing too fancy; I'm easily amused.
Someone called up this am inquiring about a coining-type
die and I eventually offered that if they paid to have it made , I'd arrange to run the small parts for them. I'd been looking into Roper Whitney's small benchtop punches for a long time, never quite taking the plunge.Later that day another customer showed up with a Diacro #1
manual punch (4 ton) , with a die shoe already in it, and said it was mine if I wanted it, and he'd throw in a kick press with round punch sets, for the $90 he owed me. I accepted, then looked up the cost of a new #1, and about fainted.
