Open studios last weekend was a great success ... over 300 people and a glorious weekend.  Now ... back to work.

DAR ... about your post concerning embossing with the pancake die ...
I haven't tried that but have done similar technique with a matrix set up.  Cut out shape in cast acrylic with brass face plate and carve out detail / design in brass "flange" of the shape.  Can get some nifty results.  Gotta watch that brass is thick enuf so carving doesn't get too thin and tear under repeat use.
