The book is "Techniques of Pressworking Sheetmetal", by Donald F. Eary, second edition, 1978, 596 pages. "An engineering approach to die design", but don't let that scare you. It's written in layman's terms, very little math beyond the grade school level.
I'm a total new-comer to press forming and this book seems to have the answer to all my questions. Almost 100 pages devoted to drawing and deep drawing which is my main interest. Lots of examples how to do various operations plus info on dealing with problems from incorrrect die setups.
I'm sure the book is out of print. My copy came off Ebay, Abebooks.com has copies at reasonable prices so I assume this book was a good seller in it's day. There were two editions, first in 1958, the almost completely revised second edition, 1978, is the best IMO.
Anyone else seen the book?
