Deep Drawn Microfold Vessel With Pearls

Copper sheet (.006") was double microfolded (at 90 degrees and parallel to the edges of the sheet) in the BDE Microfold Brake and deep drawn with the 3" set of tools. Round sterling wires were flattened at one end and those ends were inserted into the microfolds so that the wires were die formed into place simultaneously with the deep drawing. This was done after the first draw. The flat end of the wire prevents the wire from pulling out of the textured metal. The top rim was soldered on and the wires were used to "peg set" the pearls. The vessel is 1.25" wide (size of the last punch used) and 1.7" tall.
