Default Expiration of Postings is 1 Week?

I noticed that the "radio buttons" at the top of the window for typing a post give you an expiration choice of 1 week, 1 month and 3 months. If you don't change it the default choice is 1 week. I'm guessing that is why Lee's post was gone after a week. I know it would be a huge megabyte mess but it would nice if we could refer new viewers and others to an archive going back a year (as before). Is that still possible or does the 1 week "auto-expiration" eliminate that? ..Jack
