1. the gold roundels were crimped on the large [35mm wide] version of the Ondulatore from Progress Tools

2. the reticulated dome was done with the Microfold Brake; I needed a fairly large "wavelength" in order to allow the reticules space to form on the crimped surface. The smaller crimps produced by the Ondulatore would probably not have reticulated well at all -- a signal-to-noise ratio problem. I wanted to be sure and have large scale regular undulation as a host surface for small scale nearly random reticulation.

Of course now I have to make a box to fit under it.
Gulp. Sometimes beautiful things can be SO intimidating.
