SECOND ANNUAL TUCSON DINNER

Well, it's about that time again. February is the annual trek to Tucson for all of you stone folks, and I will once again be holding down the fort at the Rio Grande "Catalog in Motion" exposition at the Hyatt Hotel. Anne, Cynthia and Jack will be teaching classes, and Phil will be doing demonstrations of various die forming techniques.

Last year, we had our first Dinner Gathering for what turned out to be a marvelous opportunity to exchange ideas and put faces to a lot of email personages. After we had imbibed a bit of the local flavor it was decided to make the dinner an annual event. After all, the throats get awful dry after several days of talking, and "Fat Tire" is an excellent local brew, and just the thing to wet the whistle. (The food was good too.)

It will be a "pay your own" gathering. For the first 10 entrants, Bonny Doon will provide your evening attire in the form of the infamous Tee-shirt with the lyrics of "Twenty Tons" emblazoned on the back.

This year, the dinner will be on the 9th of February.
