Thanks for the input, Jesse. It is just this sort of community that advances the knowledge so quickly. I have been too busy to do much more than follow the thread on this subject.
Ideally, I would like to avoid making alignment rings, if it is possible to use 'O' rings which are readily available almost anywhere. This way, people are less dependent upon me as a "sole source".
