Well, since Phil let the cat out of the bag with his posting of the die shoes, and I just got around to taking images of the newest addition to the press line, here it is.

This is a slightly wider frame than the standard 20 ton press and it is also 4" taller. This was done to enable it to accept the 6" Master Die Set. Previously, this could only be used in the 50 ton press (not because of the tonnage, but because it was large enough). That made it pretty expensive for someone that wanted to use the deep-draw set, but didn't need the extra tonnage. Also, it can be shipped by UPS.

To make it interchangable with all of the standard functions of the
regular 20 ton press, it comes with a 4" tall riser block that sits on
the bottom platen. It is 6" square, and it makes the press (for all
practical purposes) the same as the one that we have been selling for
the last 14 years. The lower platen has two holes that locate the block so that it can't get out of location.

It gives quite a bit of "upward mobility" for people that might think
about getting into deep draw at a later date.
